Office & Photo Manager

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Email inbox management & inbound phone call management

  • Processing of scanned photos using Adobe Lightroom & Adobe Bridge

  • Quality Control of photo lab processes, including providing feedback to lab technicians, and rectification of quality issues

  • Filing of physical photo collections into archival housing

  • Preparation of project proposals, assessment of new orders, creation of project inventories, preparation of lab reports as well as project summary reports

  • Liaise with suppliers

  • Meet clients to onboard and off-board projects (in-person & on Zoom)

  • Gather and centralise digital photos from multiple devices, including cloud storage

  • Process gathered digital photo collections, including deduplication & reorganisation of digital photo collections

  • Deliver organised digital photo collections, as well as design & implement bespoke backup solutions

  • Ongoing maintenance of digital photo collections

  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures

  • Other tasks as directed

Our team includes photo lab technicians as well as digital photo processors and our photo

manager will work closely with our other team members as well as our clients.

Skills & Experience

Experience:

  • At least 2 years experience in the photographic industry

  • Proven experience in batch processing large Lightroom libraries

  • Minimum of 2 years customer service experience, ideally in a supervisor or management role

  • Intermediate-advanced Photographic Skills

  • Crop, Rotate, Colour-Correct Digital Files in Lightroom, Bridge and PhotoShop

  • Batch process digital files

  • Intermediate-advanced Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop skills

  • Intermediate Google Suite, in particular Sheets / Spreadsheet skills

  • Digital & Analogue Photography experience

  • Photo digitisation experience

  • Proficient use of Mac & PC computers, as well as iPhone & Android devices & be tech-minded and interested

  • Rename & Redate Digital Files

  • Ability to identify and appropriately handle different photographic media

  • Ability to accurately follow instructions

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to problem-solving & think creatively

  • Demonstrate patience

  • Clear written and verbal communication

  • Organised and able to meet deadlines

  • Maintain up-to-date records in Click-Up & inventory documents in Google Drive

  • Track time for each task

  • Complete administration tasks on time

  • Ensure office is clean and presentable at all times

  • Deal with clients, suppliers and other employees professionally at all times
